IATF allows reopening of cinemas, driving schools, museums in GCQ areas

THE Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) has approved the reopening and further expansion of cinemas, driving schools, game arcades and museums, among others, in areas under General Community Quarantine (GCQ).

Presidential spokesman Harry Roque Jr. said the reopening of these businesses will be subject to implementing guidelines to be issued by the Department of Health (DoH) and concerned local government units (LGUs) where they are located.

The IATF-EID also allowed libraries and cultural centers under GCQ to reopen.

Also approved is the reopening of limited tourist attractions, such as parks, theme parks, natural sites and historical landmarks.
